Shapeways, a leading global community for 3D co-creation
production is having a contest for all 3D artists. Its inviting all 3D artists
to submit their hottest object designs and have it be produced into physical
tangible products by Shapeways.com and showcased at SIGGRAPH 2008. The
submissions will be accepted from July 29th 2008 to August 7th 2008. The top 10
finalists will be announced on August 11th. The Grand Prize Winner will be
announced on August 15th, 2008. The
grand prize is a $500.00 Shapeways Product Certificate.
