    'Journey' flicker

Just saw 'Journey to the Center of the Earth' at Century 20 theater in San Jose, CA. There was a very noticeable flicker, especially in the bright scenes. The flicker was apparent in both eyes. Is this a normal artefact of the Reald process or could the projector have been misadjusted? It was very hard on the eyes compared to the Dolby 3D which had no noticeable flicker at all.

    Re: 'Journey' flicker

Have to see it see it to know for sure.

No it is not normal for Real D
But my guess that was a lamp issue in the projector.
Real D normally  does not have flicker issues.
Please tell or email the theater manager about the issue.
Ask for free ticket to see it when they have solved it.
If your on this forum you are a informed viewer.
    And have a keen eye.
I always comment on sound, focus or projection issues to the theater manager.
Because nobody else will and you shouldn't have to.
You are the client that paid money to see the show.
Disney just shot another 3D concert so more stuff is on the way.
    Keep going to 3D movies
    best,
