Please make the glasses more friendly for glasses wearers!

To Real D - PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE revise the glasses to be better to wear if you have to wear prescription glasses.  Just last week I went to the Real D showing of U23D and the glasses were very uncomfortable to wear over my own glasses as they didn't have any kind of protruding nose support (thus falling down to the end of my nose).  I don't remember having this problem with the glasses that I had when I saw Monster House last year so they must have been revised since then.

Please, I beg you - please modify the glasses so that they work better with people who already wear glasses!

Perhaps a solution would be to create a clip on version that isn't a full pair of glasses just the lenses that clip on to existing glasses. Just a thought

I came to this forum to ask the question about 3D glasses for prescription glass wearers and it was already posted!  :)  Sure am glad I'm not the only one with this problem.

BINGO!  That's really the only solution I found from my search for a set of 3D glasses.  I found clip-on's but I didn't want to order them in case they wouldn't work.

Now seeing this post, I hope they just supply clip-ons for us.  If not, there will be many that just won't pay the extra to watch a movie in 3D.  I know the last time I went, I about walked out because I got tired of holding the glasses they gave me in front of my glasses.  Plus, I had to hold them just right to see the 3D effects.

Real D ... Please, please give out clip-on glasses for us!!

You guys must have rather large glasses or rather short noses I saw "Journey..." with three friends, myself as well as two of the others wear prescription glasses and the RayBan styled glasses provided fit quite comfortably over all three of our regular glasses. None of us had any problems during the movie once we had them on we did not need to reposition them even once throughout the movie. (Although I did take them off to see if there was any difference by wearing the glasses or not, silly I know but after looking through them in real life I wondered if they did anything at all and they certainly did)

I saw 'Beowolf' and they gave everyone huge glasses that could cover eyeglasses. But when I saw 'Journey to..' they gave everyone cheap little math nerd glasses. I think it depends on your theatre, but I agree it is a problem.

From what I know the clip ons already exist as you get them when you buy REALD.

Monitor ZScreen 2000i bezel assembly with integrated electronics includes:
    • 2 Deluxe Circular Polarized Eyewear
    • 1 clip-on eyewear
    • 3-Pin Mini-DIN cables/adapters:
      • 7-Pin Mini-DIN stereo connector
      • DB-9(SGI) stereo connector
      • 3-Pin Mini-Din VESA to BNC stereo connector
    • 110V and 220V power supply
    $2,345.00

    Or the eyewear for
Clip-on Polarized Eyewear for Monitor ZScreen (QTY 5) $250.00

Buy me a set while you are at it :)

Seriously it would be great if it were an option! Since I am assuming a big portion of this world still wears glasses.
